Humanity Calls International has been at the forefront of providing essential humanitarian support to those in need across the globe. From war-torn regions like Gaza and Ukraine, to communities affected by natural disasters and economic hardship in Africa, Asia, and South America. Our mission is to bring relief, hope, and tangible aid to all. Through our dedicated teams and generous donors, we have helped rebuild lives, restore dignity, and offer a brighter future. Our programmes focus on emergency medical aid, food, shelter, disaster recovery, and long-term development support. Through our programs, we have impacted millions of lives.
Recent research shows that more than 40% of people in developing countries lack access to essential resources such as food, healthcare services, financial support, and education, surviving on less than $2.15 per day. This alarming statistic underscores the depth of poverty and inequality faced by these communities, leaving them incredibly vulnerable to crises, malnutrition, and lack of opportunities, with millions suffering from preventable diseases and limited access to quality education. Our foundation was established to address these pressing challenges and support these underserved communities.
With the support of more funding patners, we are pleased to announce a limited-time funding opportunity to assist organizations and communities in line with our mission. HCI is offering financial assistance to a diverse range of organizations, including Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), women’s groups, youth initiatives, non-profits, volunteer networks, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, arts and cultural groups, and individuals—particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, with disabilities and marginalized areas. This is a unique opportunity to secure the support needed to drive meaningful change.
Volunteers from Humanity Calls International have been instrumental in providing crucial support to those affected by conflict and crisis. In Gaza, our teams have worked tirelessly in the refugee camps of Jabalia, Khan Younis, and Rafah, offering life-saving medical care. The Israeli strike on Palestine has caused a humanitarian crisis, with over 40,000 dead and 99,554 injured in one year. The violence has left countless families displaced, underscoring the urgent need for international intervention to address the escalating suffering. Our staff are facing severe challenges working in the strip due to relentless bombardments, with besieged infrastructure and inaccessible roads making it extremely difficult for humanitarian aid to reach the area.
In Ukraine, our work centers around addressing the immediate needs of people affected by the ongoing conflict. We provide essential aid, including medical supplies to support local hospitals, and focus on ensuring displaced individuals have access to safe shelter.
In Sudan, we are focused on providing vital aid to communities impacted by conflict and displacement. Our efforts include delivering medical supplies to healthcare facilities and offering shelter to those who have lost their homes.
Plans are underway to expand our disaster response in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). We are in the final stages of formalizing partnerships with additional funding partners. Our efforts will focus on providing life-saving medical supplies and shelter to selected refugee camps.
HCI is deeply saddened to announce the tragic loss of our team members in Gaza, as well as the brave journalists from Al-Jazeera, volunteers and staff from Humanity Inclusion (HI), Doctors Without Borders (MSF), and the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS). Our heartfelt condolences go out to all those affected by this immense loss. Visit our Tribute page to learn more.
