A Day in Gaza

A tribute to the strength and resilience of the people of Occupied Palestine

"A Day in Gaza" - The Phrase That Inspires Us

“A Day in Gaza” is a phrase adopted from the heartfelt words of Yassir Al-Mansour, a resident, volunteer, and witness to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Yassir's powerful tribute came after the tragic loss of some of our staff members in an Israeli airstrike, alongside journalists from Al Jazeera. Her tribute left a profound impact on our mission.

“Every day we wake up to the sound of bombs. It feels like the world is falling apart around us...I’ve seen buildings collapse, families torn apart, children caught in the rubble. Every day I return to the streets as a volunteer, I pick up the pieces of shattered lives, comforting those who are left behind. But it’s hard to keep going when you don’t know how many more will be lost by nightfall. Sometimes I wonder if anyone even cares. The silence of the World Community...”

About the "A Day in Gaza" Program

We were deeply touched by Yassir’s words and, as a result, launched the "A Day in Gaza" program. This initiative seeks to support the people of Gaza in their ongoing struggle, helping rebuild communities, provide humanitarian aid, and support families who have lost loved ones in the conflict.

In honor of those who have sacrificed their lives and those who continue to fight every day, we are diverting a majority of our income and donations towards disaster response efforts in Gaza. Other programs will continue, but we urgently need your support to help our mission in Gaza.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Your donation will help us continue to provide life-saving aid, rebuild communities, and honor those we’ve lost. Every contribution counts, no matter the size.
