Humanity Calls International, formerly known as Humanity Calls Inc., has been at the forefront of providing essential humanitarian support to those in need across the globe.
From war-torn regions such as Gaza and Ukraine to communities affected by natural disasters and economic hardship across Africa, Asia, and South America, our mission is to provide relief and tangible aid to all.
Through the dedication of our teams and the generosity of our donors, we have helped rebuild lives, restore dignity, and create a brighter future for these communities.
Our flagship programs focus on Disaster Response, Health and Sanitation, Community Empowerment, and Education, in addition to a range of secondary programs.
Through these initiatives, we are impacting millions of lives and working to scale even further.
Recent research shows that more than 40% of people in developing countries lack access to essential resources such as food, healthcare services, financial support, and education, surviving on less than $2.00 per day.
This alarming statistic highlights the depth of poverty and inequality these communities face, leaving them highly vulnerable to crises, malnutrition, and limited opportunities. Millions suffer from preventable diseases and lack access to quality education.
Our foundation was established to address these pressing challenges and support these underserved communities.
We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering local communities, ensuring that they have the resources to build sustainable futures.
With the growing support of our funding partners, we are pleased to announce a limited-time financial assistance program for organizations and communities aligned with our mission.
HCI is offering grants to a wide range of groups—including Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), women’s collectives, youth initiatives, nonprofits, volunteer networks, schools, and faith-based organizations.
This is a unique opportunity to secure the resources needed to create real, lasting change in your community.
Join us. Together, we can advance HCI’s vision of a better life for all—starting at the grassroots level, right where you are.
The journey of Humanity Calls International has been marked by resilience and a commitment to providing critical support to those affected by conflict and crisis. Volunteers from our team have been at the forefront, offering life-saving medical care and essential relief in some of the world's most dangerous areas.
In Gaza, our teams have worked tirelessly in the refugee camps of Jabalia, Khan Younis, and Rafah, providing medical care amidst a humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli strikes. Over 40,000 lives have been lost, and more than 99,500 people have been injured in just one year.
The violence has left families displaced and created a dire need for international intervention to address the escalating suffering. Our staff faces severe challenges on the ground, as relentless bombardments, besieged infrastructure, and inaccessible roads make it almost impossible for aid to reach those who need it most.
Our journey extends to Ukraine, where we are working to alleviate the immediate suffering caused by the ongoing conflict. Our teams provide critical medical supplies to local hospitals, ensuring displaced individuals have access to safe shelter. The conflict in Ukraine has left countless families in dire need of assistance, and our teams are responding with urgency.
In Sudan, the journey of relief continues as we focus on providing vital medical aid and shelter to communities devastated by conflict and displacement. Our efforts are centered around delivering essential medical supplies to healthcare facilities and ensuring displaced families have a safe place to stay.
Looking to the future, we are expanding our disaster response efforts in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Partnerships with additional funding partners are in the final stages, and we will focus our efforts on providing life-saving medical supplies and shelter to selected refugee camps, ensuring that our impact continues to grow.
HCI is deeply saddened to announce the tragic loss of our team members in Gaza, as well as the brave journalists from Al-Jazeera, volunteers and staff from Humanity Inclusion (HI), Doctors Without Borders (MSF), and the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS). Our heartfelt condolences go out to all those affected by this immense loss. Visit our Tribute page to learn more.
